About the Author

As a lifelong storyteller and former screenwriting professor at DePaul University, I have always been dedicated to writing empowering roles for women.

My eclectic career includes my work in advertising and marketing as a freelance copywriter and photographer, content editor and strategist, and business development executive in Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL for companies like Filmworkers and at Resolution Digital Studios in Chicago. I love to teach and also taught essay writing at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago and conducted workshops on the Female Myth and Brand Storytelling. I’ve been on the Advisory Council for Nashville’s Film Com and on the board of The Art Center in Highland Park, IL. I’m also an avid potter and work in real estate. I love art, hiking, yoga, movies, comedy and cooking new Vegan recipes.
